"Any working parent knows how hard it is to leave your child with anyone else. We looked at 5 other home day cares before choosing Stepping Stones and we are so glad we finally chose Pratima's school. We saw some pretty sad situations that call themselves home day cares! Being a teacher myself, I have extremely high standards for where I am willing to send my child. This place is clean, bright, cheerful and inviting.

Our son absolutely LOVES going to school everyday and it is clear that Pratima adores our son like one of her own. Knowing that my son is in the hands of someone who truly cares about him and his well being is a huge relief. She has become part of our extended family. She goes out of her way to make the kids safe, loved, and excited to learn in a fun environment. Just visiting the day care, it is immediately clear what a wonderful place it is for a child to spend their day. She is current with her early childhood education practices and has high standards for her facility, her assistants, and her families as well. I know for a fact that the poor review written here is from a former parent who did not live up to the standards Pratima has for her families being healthy, hygienic, and of good character, which obviously is important as it affects all the families in the daycare. I cannot say enough about this wonderful school and Pratima herself. Selfishly, I'd love to keep this place a secret but our experience has been nothing but wonderful and Pratima deserves a glowing review.Type your paragraph here".

"Both of our children have been in daycare since a very young age.  Our experience has been with large centers and we were looking for something different when we came across Stepping Stones.  We were very impressed with Ms. Pratima’s philosophy and approach. 

She has the ability to work with so well with children of all age groups promoting learning and play through creative and dynamic approaches.  Pratima provided our boys with a fun and challenging learning environment.  We feel our oldest son is well prepared for kindergarten.  I am very happy with our experience here and felt very comfortable leaving our children in her hands.  Thanks for taking such good care of our children".

"Pratima has been caring for my children for the past 4 years and has become family to us. My son, Evan, started attending when he was two and a half years old and he stayed with Miss Prats right up until he started kindergarten (already knowing how to read). My daughter, Hannah, has been attending since she was 3 months old and now she's 2 and a half! My son still asks to accompany me when going to drop off or pick up how sister do he can see his teacher! I know my children have always been in the most nurturing and caring of hands. I've always admire how Pratima displays the same amount of patience and kindness at 5pm when I'm picking my child up, as she does when she is dropped off at 8am.

She is very mindful in keep a level of consistency in her program which is comforting to the children, but also offers changing toys and activities and occasional rearranging of the space to utilize space and emphasize different objectives. She is strict on following guidelines for running a daycare from her home, which I continue to find comfort in (she realizes my children are so for physical before me sometimes!). Most of all, I love the way she loves my children. It is the most sincere love to witness and I see how it effect the children she watches. Just the other day I went to pick up my daughter and was received with a bear-hug from all 4 children still at her program. I will never arrive at the end of a list of positive things to say about Pratima and her school, I am thankful every day for what she provides my family with".

"To Whom it May Concern,

When searching for a daycare provider for my first born child, as you can imagine, it was a long process. I was on a search for both a nurturing, but also educational environment.  After weeks of taking tours and interviewing teachers, Ms. Pratts checked off all the right boxes. 

Firstly, as a mom, I wanted to make sure that if my child could not be with me (work full time in Boston), that she was with someone who would care for her like her own.  I can say without doubt that Ms. Pratts does exactly like.  As a mom herself, she knows the struggle being away from your child and will provide updates at the end of every day and sometimes will send photos throughout the day to keep in touch.  Each morning we arrive, our daughters excitement and smile tell me that she loves being there and loves Ms. Pratts.  

Secondly, Ms. Pratts is also an educator. She not only provides a nurturing environment for the kids, but also educates them specific to their age.  Our daughter is the youngest one there, and I can tell that she watches the older children and learns from them and that alone is helping her to develop at a quicker pace. 
Overall, Ms. Pratts is absolutely wonderful and has become an extension of our family.  If your looking for a safe, nurturing and educational environment - look no further!"

I have 2 children, one who has just left Stepping Stones and entered kindergarten, and the other has attended since she was 8 months old (she is now 3). I feel my children have really thrived there. Because of the small setting of a family daycare, the curriculum can be tailored more to my children's needs and she is very accommodating. I love that she is such a diverse person herself, having degrees in engineering and early childhood education, and my oldest has attended her math chess class. She really cares about my children and knows them really well. She is like a member of our family. I highly recommend Stepping Stones. My name is Stacey and I have been working here for almost 1 1/2 years. I'm really surprised to see any negative comments on Stepping Stones. Ever since I've started here our number one focus is our children. We put a lot of focus on our curriculum and keeping our children on a set schedule and or a daily routine. Pratima, our Director, is very friendly individual and very considerate to both children's parents and staff.

Not only is she EEC certified Director, she is completing for her masters degree specialization in Early education as a part of her credentials. All my friends who have children are anxiously waiting to join their children in our program. We work on Montessori pattern with all ages ranging from three months till 5/6 years old.
